Retaining Walls - New Eurocode 2 Designs

Walls are free-standing units of precast reinforced concrete, designed to provide efficient and versatile bulk storage and temporary or permanent earth retaining.

Units of this type have been used for the retention of materials in bulk from a Silage Clamp on the farm to Walling units in a Bulk store.

Materials stored include fertilizers, grain, salt, sewage waste, coal, recycled materials, glass and ceramics.

Earth retention projects include road, rail, landscape and watercourse management projects.
